Biography

Bridget Wu Isenberg is a dissertation fellow at the Civitas Institute and a Ph.D. student at UT-Austin. She researches 18th century French commercial thought, specifically Montesquieu and Rousseau’s views of how commerce ushered in the modern world and thereby changed the supports necessary for liberty. She earned her master’s from UT-Austin and her bachelor’s from St. John’s College, Santa Fe.
