Biography

Reid Comstock is a postdoctoral fellow at the Civitas Institute. He specializes in ancient philosophy, ethics, and the philosophy of law. He is interested in the nature of human flourishing, and the social, political, and legal institutions which make it possible. He has co-authored a paper on the Socratic elenchus and has written several papers on Aristotle as a teacher of ethics. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame.
