Ryan Decker

Biography

Ryan Decker is Chief of the Industrial Output Section at the Federal Reserve Board, where he leads research on U.S. manufacturing, including motor vehicles, aircraft, and oil and gas. His published work examines entrepreneurship, firm dynamics, and macroeconomics using both official and private-sector data. At the Board, he has also served as Special Adviser, coordinated the staff GDP forecast, and contributed to initiatives on small business activity and nontraditional data. He is a member of the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth and a Special Sworn Status researcher at the U.S. Census Bureau.
